Cilcee fine art prints

Giclee fine art prints

The best choice for fine art reproductions, giclée prints are individually produced. These are high-resolution, high-quality fine art digital prints made on a specialized inkjet printer.

Ink is deposited with precision onto the surface of the desired paper (or other substrate). The resulting image is of exceptional quality; offering brighter colours, crisper details and long-lasting colour. Giclees are a reflection of the skills of the printer in bringing out the essence and the spirit of original art works they represent.

Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) prints may be printed on any number of substrates from watercolour paper to canvas, vinyl and transparent acetates.

Giclée prints archival properties:

Giclée is an archival process, using both archival media and inks; so your print is guaranteed to last between 80–100 years, with the exception of direct sunlight, storage and most importantly, the way the prints are handled. The archival properties of the substrate of your choice to print on will affect the archival lifespan.

Turnaround time:
2-3 Days for printing alone, depending on how many other orders are in queue. (excludes framing)

Maximum printing sizes (including boarders and allowances for stretching) are:

1100 x 12000 mm for Semi-Matte, Watercolour, Somerset Velvet and Hahnemühle.

1500 x 12000 mm for Canvas and Ultra Smooth.

There are different artist fees applicable to Open Edition Giclée prints and Limited Edition Giclée prints – The artist fee is additional to the print, shipping (if applicable) and framing fee.
